Youth transformation starts with opportunity.
YTEN — Youth Transformation & Empowerment Network — is a youth-led organization serving young people ages 14–24 across Durham Region, Ontario. We create practical pathways for young people to build skills, gain experience, connect to opportunities and move toward greater stability, economic participation and independence.

Young people are creators, leaders and decision-makers — not just participants. Youth voice shapes what YTEN builds and how it builds it.

YTEN works alongside youth-serving organizations, schools, employers and community groups rather than duplicating services.

Beyond support alone: skills, experience, income and connection — practical steps toward stability and independence.

A bridge between services and opportunity.
YTEN doesn't try to replace the services that already exist across Durham Region. Instead, we connect them — building relationships between organizations, employers, mentors and young people so that support turns into real opportunity.
